      • Comb pen shell triad 키조개 삼합

        The comb pen shell triad of Boryeong is a food that is eaten with comb pen shell adduction muscle, beef, and vegetables. Furthermore, other seafood such as abalone, shrimp and scallops can be included in the comb pen shell triad, and therefore you can enjoy it in various ways. Comb pen shell triad is rich in minerals such as calcium and is effective in relieving fatigue.

        • Pork Noodle 고기 국수

        Pork Noodle is characterized by the use of clam broth, which is a feast dish on Wonsan Island in Boryeong. In other areas, most use anchovy broth, but people on Wonsan Island use clams which are easy to obtain on the island. So there is no fishy taste and the soup is very savoury.

        • Sundae Fried at Traditional Markets (순대볶음)

        Sundae bokkeum (순대볶음) is a popular Korean dish that features a stir-fried sundae (Korean blood sausage) with a medley of vegetables and a spicy sauce. It’s a flavorful and satisfying dish that’s often enjoyed as a side dish or a quick meal.

        Boryeong’s traditional market-style sundae bokkeum is flavoured with red pepper powder, cooking oil, sesame leaves and onions, unlike the usual sundae bokkeum roasted with saurce or kochugang(고추장). It can be accompanied by intestines such as pig liver, lungs and giblets, and you also can ask to remove it if you have a gut that you do not into.
