My passion has always been about fostering communication across cultures! I studied Applied Linguistics at a university in Japan. In the UK, I majored in Graphic Design and explored visual communication. Alongside my studies, I also taught Japanese for almost 2 years.
Learning about different cultural backgrounds through languages is an exciting experience, and it helps learn languages deeper! In my classes, I often talk about the cultural background of words and share fun facts, such as which Japanese convenience store is the best for buying rice balls!
