That’s why we’ve specially designed this JLPT N5 Test Prep Course to help students successfully prepare for the exam. While the key knowledge required to pass N5 is outlined below, a superficial understanding isn’t enough—genuine command of the language requires targeted practice.
- Basic particles: は、を、に、で、が etc.
- Verb Basic form (Dictionary form: Group 1 – 3): Present, Past, Negative form. 〜ます、〜ません、〜ました、〜ませんでした。
- Adjective い、な and Present, Past, Negative conjugations: 〜です、〜ではありません、〜でした、〜ではありませんでした
- Frequency Adverbs: いつも、ときどき、よく・Negative frequency: ぜんぜん、あまり
- Prepositions：うえ、した、なか、となり、みぎ、ひだり etc.
- Connection words: But, However, why, or, etc (でも、けど、とうやって)
- Sino number systems
- Relative clause
- 100-150 Kanji
