- can hold a conversation with a native Chinese speaker about common daily topics for 5 minutes or more
- have knowledge of important grammatical structures like verb complements of result, degree and direction
In this course, students will continue to learn with the assistance of Pinyin, but will start to practise reading Hanzi in the texts. Another 50 Hanzi will be introduced along with the best ways to memorize them. Our lessons maintain strong focus on conversational skills training talking about asking for favour, provide solutions to issues, getting sick and seeing a doctor etc.
The key grammar points in this course include conditional sentences using 如果,…的话, gradual changes using 越,accompanied actions, and contextual uses of tone adverbs like 才 and 就。
