Our Chinese Upper-Intermediate 2 Course is designed for students who has finished Level 3 learning or are able to do the below:
- can speak Chinese with natural pronunciation
- ideally has knowledge of 1000 or more vocabularies.
- Ideally can read 300-500 Hanzi without Pinyin
- can hold a conversation or talk about an event with ease
- have good foundation of all important grammatical structures like verb aspect, verb complements, use of modifiers and adverbs, special sentences like 是…的,把,被, and the colloquial nature of topic comment in Chinese.
This course will focus on vocabulary building on a range of topics that are closed to daily life, at the same time the questions asked are more abstract or detailed, so as to practise speaking with organised thoughts, with specific vocabularies. The 5 headline topics in this course are 消费,身体健康,精神健康,成功,幸福。Students will practise their listening skills by listening to native speakers on video answering various related questions in unfiltered language, then students will follow suite to practise answering these questions with their own options and stories.

HSK5 Summer Bridging Course
Finished HSK4 but not quite ready to jump into HSK5? This course is the perfect next step for you.
Our Chinese Spring HSK5 Bridging Course is designed for students who have completed HSK4 syllabus and want to strengthen their skills before moving on to HSK5. This course focuses on improving vocabulary, grammar, and practical communication, with special attention to overcoming common challenges such as reading and writing Hanzi characters. Through interactive and targeted exercises, the course helps you gain confidence in recognizing and writing Hanzi, while improving your listening, speaking, and understanding skills. Whether you plan to take the HSK4 exam or just want to improve your Chinese, this course will support you before progressing to the next stage.
You will also learn to express ideas and thoughts in a professional manner. Lesson content will include current affairs and contemporary issues in modern China. Discussions will be developed based on designed topics every week, while strengthening learned vocabulary and grammar structures.
This is a 12-week course, it is not a must-learn course before starting any level courses.

Our Advanced Business course is designed with 6 modules which reflects our students’ learning interest. Each of the modules has 8 topics, where key vocabularies are outlined for study, in the form of news articles or case studies. Most of these case studies will be from China, for example, you might learn about the Chinese government structure, stories of the business tycoons and their companies in China, booming sector and innovative startups, or the stock market and property market.
For learning material, we curate one article each topic with outlined vocabularies. Additionally, each lesson should include 0.5 hour to 1 hour learning time for current affairs discussion. The source is commonly financial times 中文网。The ability to engage in conversations about current affairs with the right vocabularies is a step up from being comfortably fluent, it’s also a crucial step to achieve working proficiency in Chinese.

- ideally has knowledge of 2500 or more vocabularies.
- Ideally can read 1500-2000 Hanzi without Pinyin
Topics will include global and everyday life topics, namely, Technology & Society, Introducing Chinese Literature, Global Politics, Pop Culture & Censorship, Economy & Innovation.
The learning results of our courses would be for students to achieve excellent speaking fluency discussing current affairs, social issues and history events in depth and in details, to understand videos and news in Chinese, to achieve further reading skills of authentic Chinese writings, magazines, website and newspaper articles.
