Intermediate 4 Japanese Course

Our Japanese Intermediate 4 Course is designed for learners to have finished Intermediate3 or are able to do as below.

• Have a knowledge of 250+ kanji

• Use 1500+ vocabulary words

• Communicate on a range of cultural topics

• Understand and apply all N4 grammar

In this course, learners refine their ability to communicate accurately and appropriately in both casual and formal situations. In addition to strengthening expressions of intention, expectation, and description, students begin using basic honorific and humble forms and learn to tell simple stories suited to formal contexts. Key grammar includes nuanced uses of desire and foundational polite-register structures. Themes include responsibilities and presenting information clearly in formal settings.
