 Our Chinese Intermediate 3&4 course is designed for students who has knowledge of 800 or more words, who ideally has put in effort to learn all of the Hanzi prescribed in all of our previous courses (400 Hanzi in total), therefore, who can read 200+ Hanzi without Pinyin.
In this course, students will start to read small texts without Pinyin. No new Hanzi will be introduced, instead, consolidating and reading practise will be in focus. For conversational practise, we will move away from text reading to real life stories. Each lesson, we will practise story telling with an interesting subject. Students will watch a story told by a native speaker and follow the example to tell their own stories.
Key grammar points covered in this course include review of verb complement of result, and direction; introduction of complement of possibility; rhetorical questions; flexible use of interrogative pronouns etc.

 Our Chinese Elementary 3 Course is designed for students who are exposed to more and more natural Chinese conversations, who can carry a survival level of conversation while traveling in China, who ideally has knowledge of 500+ words.
In this course, students will continue to learn with Pinyin but ideally can start to pick up the essential Hanzi introduced in the previous courses. In each of our Elementary course, 50 Hanzi will be introduced along with the best ways to memorize them. Our lessons maintain strong focus on conversational skills training talking about your personalities and characters, house deco, use of tech in our lives, how to improve Chinese learning etc.
Our key grammar points covered include use of degree complements in common contexts, adjective and verb duplicating, summery of direction and location, summery of number expressions, frequency adverbs, degree adverbs and the tricky tone adverbs like就.

A total of 25 single component Hanzi and its use to create new Hanzi and words will be introduced in this course. In each of our lesson, the strong focus is on conversational skill training talking about your travel plan, work schedule, describing people and telling your own story in a timeline etc. Our key grammar points covered include the continuous status using 着, how to make comparison using 比and 没有, multiple use of modal verbs like 要,会,能,and multiple use of the modal particle 了。
