Chinese Upper Intermediate 3  Our Chinese Upper-Intermediate 3 Course is designed for students who has finished Level 3 learning or are able to do the below: can speak Chinese with natural pronunciation ideally has knowledge of 1000 or more vocabularies. Ideally can read 500-700 Hanzi without Pinyin can hold a conversation or talk about an event with ease have good foundation of all important grammatical structures like verb aspect, verb complements, use of modifiers and adverbs, special sentences like 是…的,把,被, and the colloquial nature of topic comment in Chinese. This course will focus on vocabulary building on a range of topics that are closed to daily life, at the same time the questions asked are more abstract or detailed, so as to practise speaking with organised thoughts, with specific vocabularies. The 5 headline topics in this course are 阅读,生活中的创意,世界文化,环境保护,教育。Students will practise their listening skills by listening to native speakers on video answering various related questions in unfiltered language, then students will follow suite to practise answering these questions with their own options and stories. There are 4 courses at this level, we recommend students to always start from lower level of the courses, or to pick a class where your level is most aligned with the classmates.

In this course, students will continue to further their Pinyin training to achieve natural pronunciations and tones. Our Chinese Elementary 3 Course is designed for students who are exposed to more and more natural Chinese conversations, who can carry a survival level of conversation while traveling in China, who ideally has knowledge of 500+ words.
