Our Chinese Intermediate 3 course is designed for students who has knowledge of 800 or more words, who ideally has put in effort to learn all of the Hanzi prescribed in all of our previous courses (400 Hanzi in total), therefore, who can read 200+ Hanzi without Pinyin.
In this course, students will start to read small texts without Pinyin. No new Hanzi will be introduced, instead, consolidating and reading practise will be in focus. For conversational practise, we will move away from text reading to real life stories. Each lesson, we will practise story telling with an interesting subject. Students will watch a story told by a native speaker and follow the example to tell their own stories.
Key grammar points covered in this course include review of verb complement of result, and direction; introduction of complement of possibility; rhetorical questions; flexible use of interrogative pronouns etc.
If you have learnt all of these, you can consider taking the next course – Upper- Intermediate.
