Chinese HSK4 Upper-Intermediate 1 [8+4] (Oct-17 start)

Our Chinese Upper-Intermediate 1 Course is designed for students who has finished Level 3 learning or are able to do the below:

• can speak Chinese with natural pronunciation
• ideally has knowledge of 800 or more vocabularies.
• Ideally can read 200-400 Hanzi without Pinyin
• can hold a conversation or talk about an event with ease
• have good foundation of all important grammatical structures like verb aspect, verb complements, use of modifiers and adverbs, special sentences like 是…的，把，被, and the colloquial nature of topic comment in Chinese.

This course will focus on vocabulary building on a range of topics that are closed to daily life, at the same time the questions asked are more abstract or detailed, so as to practise speaking with organised thoughts, with specific vocabularies. The 5 headline topics in this course are 爱情，友谊，工作，赚钱，购物。Students will practise their listening skills by listening to native speakers on video answering various related questions in unfiltered language, then students will follow suite to practise answering these questions with their own options and stories.
